with the user interfaces for the new siemens gigaset telephones, the designgruppe flath & frank, where i am currently working, has won one of the if communications design award 2008. i was invovled in several of the nominated telephones whereas one can be viewed in the if online online exhibition. the winners ceremony will be on the 28th of august in hannover.
on the current front page of information aesthetics there is a short excerpt and link to my diploma thesis. hopefully it will receive a good feedback.
in this issue of wired (16.03), there is a big feature of data art. on this occasion wired.com presents my project textour in an online feature called “frame that spam! data-crunching artists transform the world of information”.

i’ve always been a fan of the visualcomplexity.com website where manuel lima presents new methods and concepts of visual depiction. i’m proud that he included my project textour and wrote a short project description.
while i’m looking for an interesting job in information and interaction design, after i’ve finished all my projects in the past, i’ve just started to think about a new project dealing with peoples identity on the internet and in online communities.
so during my research i’ve found some interesting sites like dripbook and designklicks and published some of my recent work in these communities. furthermore you can also see my curriculum vitae on xing. well, let’s wait for the feedback.
